The Portius Society in Krosno, in co-operation with Krosno State College, the University of the Highlands and Islands' Centre for History, cordially invite you to the opening of an exhibition on Porteous

Scottish-born Robert Porteous (d.1661) was an importer of Hungarian wine into Poland, and probably the wealthiest Scotsman in Poland at that time. There’s an annual wine festival, a hotel and a street named after him, as well as an array of conspicuous monuments and material culture in his adopted town of Krosno, south-east Poland.

"Polish soul" is an exhibition of photographs by Dorota Puszkiewicz, a Polish photographer based in Aberdeen. "Polish soul" is a portrait of modern Poles who live in Aberdeen, highlighting Polish features.
